Schengen Visa Applicant must provide travel insurance policy certificate (Regulation (EC) No 810/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 July 2009), which shows:
- Name(s) of insured person(s)
- Insurance policy number
- Medical expenses for at least € 30,000
- Medical Repatriation
- Duration of cover for the entire travel period
- Insurance cover the entire Schengen territory
- Travelers in French overseas areas must be covered in these territories (this is therefore not a Schengen insurance and coverage must mention specifically worldwide or the country/area/island of destination).
All our travel insurances are compliant for Schengen visa applications.
Nevertheless, some Embassy can have specific requirements depending on the type of visa you applying for (especially about deductible).
We invite you to check with your visa center.
